This restaurant is selling Malaysian hawker foods where we usually can find it back in Malaysia. The interior is looking good and I find it very spacious not like others Malaysian cuisine restaurant with squeezy space.
Lo Bak is a dish that mostly liked by everyone and it's also as known as marinated meat. And because it is marinated with 5 spice powder, it is then called 5 spice lo bak / lor bak or Ngor Hiang lor bak which is Hokkien for 5 spice powder. There are many variations recipes for lo bak in Malaysia Penang food.
It is a very popular Nyonya delight food and nowadays you can find it sold in the hawkers centre, economy food in food court, street food or restaurants. The one in Petaling Street, Melbourne I find it abit pricey because it sold at $6 for 3 pieces.
Hakka pork belly with fungus served with dry egg noodles is quite nice but a little bit oily and fat.
Still remember the post that I reviewed before about "Nga Po Lo Shu Fen" ? Click the link and go back to the post. This Petaling street Claypot or "Nga pou" lo shu fun is basically some fried short rice noodle in Claypot. They don't serve it with raw eggs and the I find that they actually don't really cook it together in the claypot like those back in Malaysia.
If the Claypot Lo Shu Fen can have the choices of adding extra raw egg, I reckon it will be more nicer.
